This past weekend, Trent's nephew, Taran, was in St. George for some pre-season soccer games with his team. (Bingham High School). We were able to go and watch his game against Snow Canyon High School and Dixie High School.
He has really become a great 'keeper'! Trent is definitly a proud uncle.

Trent's First Ride
So in the past 9 months or so, Trent and I have really gotten in to road biking. I never thought that I would be into it, neither did he. However we have both really enjoyed it.
On Saturday February 28th Trent entered into his first road race. He decided to sign up for the 50 mile ride. The day of the race I drove him to the start location and sent him on his way. It was amazing to see so many riders in one location. There was every kind of rider possible as well - first timers, weekend warriors, pro and semi-pro.
After about 2 hours, I met up with him at what I thought would have been the half way point. Once I was able to find him and give him some more water and energy bars. He then headed his way back to finish out the ride.
Trent's parents and myself met him at the finish line to cheer him on. After he was done, he looked at his GPS and realized that he didn't go 50 miles...he went 58. Turns out the course was not marked well at all and he ended up passing his designated turn around point. I thought 50 miles was impressive, never mind 58!
Overall it was great to see him participate in such a fun event! PS, If his photo looks like he was in some pain...he was. He was a bit sore.
